FY 2016 Community Development Planning Accomplishments
- Initiated a contract and began work on the Town of Kearny General Plan Update, meeting with Town Staff and the local Rotary Club.
- Worked with the Town of Winkelman to develop a Scope of Work for a Community Development Strategy with CAG Staff initiating a comprehensive building inventory.
- Drafted a Public Participation Plan for the Kearny General Plan process.
- Met with a number of communities throughout the CAG Region to address their upcoming project and planning needs.
- Attended general plan update meetings and open houses throughout the region.
- Participated in survey work for the Town of Kearny.
- Met with the communities of Apache Junction and Globe to discuss contractual work on several community development projects pertaining to community mapping, local community development studies and a vacant housing survey.
