CAG Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy Five-Year Update

Notice is hereby given that the Central Arizona Governments (“CAG”) is soliciting request for proposals for a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.
The selected Consultant will provide a 5-year Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) Plan for CAG’s two-county region.  Proposals will be accepted through Tuesday, June 9, 2026.  Contract award and project start date are anticipated to begin in late June 2026.

WHERE TO SUBMIT:
Proposals must be received by 4:00 PM on Tuesday June 9, 2026, electronically, via email at arobles@cagaz.org.  Proposals will also be accepted in person by appointment only.  All qualified firms or individuals will be notified of the anticipated date of final selection.
Any proposals received after 4:00 PM on the above date will not be considered.  CAG reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and assumes no liability for the costs of preparing a response for this proposal.
Please note in the SUBJECT LINE within the email:

The message within the email of the proposal shall also indicate the name and address of the respondent.

DEADLINE TO SUBMIT:
Proposals must be submitted on or before Tuesday June 9, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. (ARIZONA TIME).
It is the sole responsibility of the proposer to comply with any and all addenda issued and posted at the above websites during this action.  Small business enterprises and disadvantaged business firms are encouraged to participate.

 

 

Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op WIFA Invitation for Bids

Sealed bids will be received by the Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op, 10390 S. Sierrita Mountain Road 26, Tucson, AZ 85736, until 2:00 P.M. (AZ Time), Monday, June 1, 2026, for the Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op Water Infrastructure Improvements.  No bids will be accepted after 2:00 P.M. (AZ Time), June 1, 2026.  The Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 2:00 P.M., Arizona time, at the location and date listed above.
 
All Bids shall be made on the Invitation for Bids forms included in the Contract Documents and shall include all applicable taxes.

There is a non-mandatory pre-bid meeting, scheduled via Zoom for 2:00 P.M. (AZ Time), Wednesday, May 20, 2026.  The Zoom link will be provided to prospective bidders.  Please call Manuel Ahumada at (520) 404-8533 to schedule an in-person site visit.  Documents may also be downloaded on the Central Arizona Governments website by going to the following link:  www.cagaz.org/employment.html

Each Bid submitted, either by hand, United States Postal Service, or other carrier, shall be sealed and plainly marked Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op Water System Improvements.  All Bids shall be mailed or delivered to the Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op, 10390 S. Sierrita Mountain Road 26, Tucson, AZ 85736. The Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op will not be responsible for bids submitted that are not marked appropriately or sent to the wrong address. 

Contractors are invited to be present at the opening of bids, but absence will not be considered cause for disqualification.

Contractors shall be responsible for any licenses or permits required by the regulatory agency of the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract.

The Sierrita Mountain Water Co-Op reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bids, or to waive any informality in any bid, or to withhold the award if deemed in the best interest of the Co-Op.

 

 

Gila County SS4A Transportation Safety Action Plan Presentation

Gila County was awarded a U.S. Department of Transportation FHWA Grant to develop a transportation safety action plan. The primary goal of the safety action plan is to identify areas within Gila County that can benefit from roadway safety countermeasures aligned with the Safe System Approach. Gila County is utilizing components from the 10 Essential Public Health Services framework to inform the plan.
